ClaritAI ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ClaritAI platform at claritai.com. We provide AI adoption tools, resources, and education for insurance agencies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.

Information you provide directly:

  • Name and email address when you create an account
  • Agency name and size when you set up your profile
  • Answers to assessment questions and tool-finder inputs within the platform
  • Payment information processed securely through Stripe (we do not store your card details)
  • Messages and questions submitted through the AI Advisor Chat

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data such as pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
  • Device and browser information for security and compatibility purposes
  • IP address for fraud prevention and security

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the ClaritAI platform
  • Personalize your experience (e.g., your Implementation Roadmap, tool recommendations)
  • Process payments and maintain your account
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Send platform updates and product announcements (you may opt out at any time)
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the platform

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

4. AI Advisor Chat

When you use the AI Advisor Chat, your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. Anthropic processes these messages in accordance with their privacy policy and API usage terms. We do not use your AI Advisor conversations to train AI models.

Important: Do not enter client personally identifiable information (names, SSNs, policy numbers, dates of birth) into the AI Advisor Chat or any other field on the ClaritAI platform. ClaritAI is a business management tool — it is not designed or intended to store client insurance data.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, which employs industry-standard encryption and security practices. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store credit card information on our servers.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ClaritAI:

  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Anthropic — AI responses in the AI Advisor Chat

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their use of your data. We encourage you to review them.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Export your data in a portable format upon request

ClaritAI is a professional business tool intended for adults operating insurance agencies. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
